What you are looking at is the new charge box in the new case management system. I have set up this demonstration in order to make work a little easier to cope with in the current system while we make the new system.

How does it work?

  How it works is you start entering any law code in shorthand format * :

Law <sp> Article <sp> Sub Section <sp> Degree
P L     1 2 0 . 2 0         1 H           B F 1

* The autoselect will start working after 3 characters...


as you are entering place a space between Law , Article , Sub-Section and CCD .. you will see a list appear below the box. You may tab into the box, or select an option with the mouse to select a code. The code will then match up the term entered, and give you the Chargecodes for CORTS.

Don't be alarmed if your code matches several entries.. in some cases there may be duplicates.

There are the new codes from DCJS in here as well. They are not CORTS and thus cannot match these codes.

And by the same token there are codes that do not exist in DCJS that are in CORTS only
